How to Connect Setek Extender to Orbi Router?

You can easily connect the Orbi router to the modem with the help of the Ethernet cable and connect the satellites to the router via sync button. But, if you want to connect the Orbi router to a Setek extender, then you have to create a separate network other than Orbi network.

You can do it, but first connect the Orbi router to the modem with Ethernet cable. Then, you must connect Setek WiFi extender physically, and configure it.

Connect Orbi Router to Modem First

You must use an Ethernet cable and connect Orbi router unit and home modem or ISP.

• Place the Orbi router near to the modem.
• Take Ethernet cable and connect its end to the modem LAN port and router WAN port.
• Then you have to supply power to the Orbi device and modem to turn it on.

You cannot connect the router to the extender via WPS button, but you can make the connection with Ethernet cable. Just follow steps;

• Choose an electric wall socket near router and plug it in to it.
• It is time to turn it on by pressing the power button.

• Then, just choose an updated web browser and search the http://192.168.10.1 or 192.168.10.1.

• You will reach to the Setek login page of admin, which will ask for credentials like username and password.
• By entering the Login username and password, you will get to the interface window, in which you can easily adjust the settings.
