Link Netgear Router First

The first thing you have to do is power on the Netgear router by connecting it to the cable modem.
Use the Ethernet cable to connect the router WAN port to modem LAN port.
Supply power to the router by connecting the power cord to the socket and pressing the power button.

To start the connection, you have to plug the Setek extender in to electric wall socket.
Then you can connect the router to the extender with cable; Ethernet cable must be inserted in to the router LAN port and extender Ethernet port.
Other method of connection is WPS method;

Turn on the extender and press the router and extender WPS button, which connects both the devices automatically.

After the physical connection, you have to configure the Setek WiFi extender with the help of the interface that you can reach through computer.

To reach the interface window, you have to connect the computer to the extender network via LAN cable and apply simple steps down here.

Choose the updated web browser in your computer.
Search for IP address 192.168.10.1, which usually assigned to Setek extender.

The screen will take you to the interface login page, where you have to enter the admin credentials.
The interface will open up in the computer browser, in which you can adjust the settings.
The major settings you must adjust are frequency, WiFi password and admin credentials.

After the setup, you must take a look at the Firmware tab and search for the latest version of the firmware. If it is available then update it straight away.

Reboot Extender and Router

Refreshing the Setek extender and its settings is the best way of solving any connection issue between the networking devices. So to reboot the devices, you have to unplug the router and extender power cord and plug them up again in the wall socket.

Reset Setek WiFi Extender

RESET pinhole button is given on the extender back. Long press the button with the pin or sharp object. The reset process will start and after some time all settings and data will be deleted.
